How do I shop on dutyfree.caribbean-airlines.com?
Simply browse through our products by clicking on any product category shown. Then add the products you would like to purchase to your cart.
Departure orders: Please proceed to the Caribbean Duty Free Store located at your departure terminal, a minimum of sixty (60) minutes before your flight. Present your passport and boarding pass along with your Order Confirmation email (can be displayed on your mobile phone) for your purchases to be delivered at the departure gate.
Arrival orders: After clearing immigration, please proceed to the Caribbean Airlines Duty Free store to collect your purchased products. Please observe your destination security and customs allowances before you make a purchase.
Who can shop on dutyfree.caribbean-airlines.com?
All passengers traveling through Piarco International Airport may shop online or in-store. However, passengers must be 18 years and older to purchase alcohol products.
Departure orders: Passengers must be departing from or transferring through Piarco International Airport on an international flight. Please observe your destination security and customs allowances before you make a purchase.
Arrival orders: Passengers must be arriving at Piarco International Airport from an international flight. Please observe Trinidad’s customs restrictions when pre-purchasing arrival orders.
What should I consider before making a purchase?
You should consider the customs allowances at your final destination, country specific restrictions, aviation security and biosecurity regulations. Different countries have specific restrictions and regulations for dutiable products and Liquids, Aerosols and Gas (LAGs). To avoid any discrepancies, please check for such restrictions when making your purchase.
Can I use a friend or family member’s duty free/custom allowances to order?
Unfortunately, no. Custom allowances are non-transferable therefore we require every customer to purchase under their name.
When can I shop?
Online orders must be made a minimum of 24 hours before your departure/arrival due to order processing time. Orders can be placed in-store at Piarco up to one hour before departure or upon arrival.
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are processed within 24 hours. Your order will be awaiting collections two hours before your departure time or upon your arrival. An email notification will be sent once the transaction is completed.
What if my flight details change?

Rescheduled flight times (earlier or later) by airlines:
Our systems are updated accordingly. Proceed to check-in and enter the immigration area at the revised time before proceeding to the Caribbean Airlines Duty Free Store at your departure terminal to collect your purchase.

Change in flight details (earlier or later) by customer:
If you have a rescheduled flight, please send us an email dutyfree@caribbean-airlines.com inclusive of your order details and updated flight details.

Change in passenger name:
Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate a change in passenger name. Should you (the purchaser) cancel your flight, your order can be cancelled and we will refund the amount paid.
Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels (LAGs) Restrictions
What are LAGs?
LAGs include, but are not limited to, the following items:
- Drinks, including water and juices,
- Soups and sauces,
- Perfumes and deodorants (liquid or liquid-solid mixture),
- Creams, balms, lotions and oils,
- Cosmetics such as mascara and lip gloss,
- Pastes, including toothpaste,
- Pressurized foams and sprays, including shaving foam, hairspray and spray deodorants,
- Gels, including hair and shower gels,
- Contact lens solution
- Canned food with liquid content, and
- Any other items of similar consistency.
How will LAGs policy affect my shopping on this site?
The LAGs policy would only affect your purchase if you are collecting your order on departure out of Piarco Airport. For liquids, aerosols and gels that are more than 100ml each bought from http://dutyfree.caribbean-airlines.com/
- Your purchase will be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1-litre. Each passenger is only allowed to carry one transparent re-sealable plastic bag. These re-sealable bags are provided by the retailers operating (insert link) or in Piarco International Airport.
- For liquids, aerosols, and gels bought on our website or at Piarco International Airport more than 100ml, your purchase will be placed in sealed tamper-evident bags (STEB), and the receipt clearly displayed in the sealed bags. You should only unseal the bag after clearing immigration at your final destination country.
- Chocolate, jewelry, watches, accessories and electronics products are not affected by LAGs restriction.
Can I clear Trinidad and Tobago’s security screening with my online purchase?
Yes, you may purchase liquid, aerosol and gas items from us and travel with confidence. Your items will be packed and sealed in approved sealed tamper-evident bags (STEB) in accordance with international guidelines. This will ensure that your purchase will pass security regulations at the boarding gates in Trinidad and Tobago.
Pricing and Payment
What currency am I charged in?
We accept TT, US and Canadian dollars. Your credit card will be charged in US dollars. For foreign credit card holders, your credit card provider will convert your payment based on the bank’s current exchange rates.

Payments for purchases on our website can be made with the following credit cards:

Collection of the orders
Where do I collect my order?
- Departure orders: Please proceed to the Caribbean Duty Free Store located in the duty free area for collection of orders upon departure. Some orders can be collected at the gate – please contact us for details.
- Arrival orders: for collection of orders on arrival, please proceed to the Caribbean Duty Free Store located on the left; just past immigration check point, to collect your purchased items.
What are the operating hours of the Caribbean Duty Free Store?
Caribbean Duty Free currently operates based on the schedule of flights into and out of Piarco International Airport. We are open from 2 hours before the first flight to 2 hours after the last flight each day.
What documentation do I need to collect my order at Caribbean Duty Free Store?
Please have in your possession the following:
- Your Order Confirmation email (or display the Order Confirmation email via your mobile device).
- Passport and Boarding pass for identification purposes.
- What about credit card verification is this necessary?
- We are committed to making your purchase seamless and stress-free. Passengers who are unable to provide the required photo identification and travel documents will be denied collection and a full refund will be processed at our discretion.
How far in advance of my departure flight can I collect my duty free order?
Orders must be collected a minimum of 60 minutes to a maximum of 4 hours before departure of your flight.
Why do I have to collect 60 minutes before departure?
Collecting your order 60 minutes in advance before departure can minimize the rush to the departure gate, providing you with a stress-free experience at the airport.
How long is the processing time at the Caribbean Duty Free Store?
After verification of your documents it will take roughly 5 minutes for our Caribbean Duty Free Store to process your order.
How do I know if my order is confirmed?
Upon confirmation of your order, an email acknowledgement will be sent to your account containing your order details.
What happens if I am unable to collect my order?
In the event you are unable to collect your order, a no-show policy will be initiated and a refund will be processed for your uncollected purchases.
Can I delegate a family member or partner to collect on my behalf?
Regrettably no, we are constrained by existing regulations and can only release the order to the passenger who has placed the order.
Can my order be delivered to my home?
Our products sold are tax and duty free and they have to be collected at the Caribbean Duty Free Store. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate local or overseas deliveries.

Alternatively, a full cancellation request can be made at our Caribbean Duty Free store on the day of your departure or arrival.
